West Jordan Youth Theatre is a safe fun place for children 8 – 18 to learn all aspects of live theater. We are a sub committee of both the West Jordan Youth Committee and the West Jordan Arts Council. We are all volunteers concerned with the welfare of our younger citizens.

West Jordan Youth Theatre is participating in West Jordan City’s 4th of July Parade and we are looking for youth between the ages of 8-18 to participate. Participants will be able to choose from an array of costumes from past productions. Parade starts at 10:30 AM. If you plan on being apart of it, look to meeing an hour earlier. If you are interested and can participate, please email us at westjordanyouththeatre@yahoo.com. Space is limited, so don’t delay.

Coming August 2013

Anne of Green Gables

Auditions will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 and Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 4:30-6:30 PM MT.

Call Backs will be held on Saturday, August 24 from 1:00-4:00 PM MT and will be by invitation only.

NOTE: Rehearsals will be held Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays for most of the run leading up to the performances. They will likely include ALL days (excluding Sunday) 1-2 weeks prior to the first performance.

Performances are currently planned for November 7, 8, 9, 11, 14, 15, 16 and 18 with a call time at around 6.

Please check your schedules now. When auditioning please mark ANY days you will be missing. Any conflicts with Performance dates and you will likley not be cast.

West Jordan Youth Theatre Mission Statement:

To introduce theater arts to the children of our community with a focus on social awareness and self esteem. To provide a safe, fun, educational environment where children may learn the many theatrical and technical talents necessary to produce a live theater show. Act as a spring board for talented youth with a desire to continue into the theater arts.
